We are starting a new year, a real blessing from God. And we do so filled with awe, with thanksgiving and hope. We are privileged to have experienced God’s love, power and majesty first hand last year.
We thank the Lord for all that we went through in 2007 – for the victories, and even for the lamentations, the pain and the hurts. For in God, everything has a time and a purpose. His amazing grace has allowed us to get through the struggles, and in spite of our imperfections, to emerge a person and community more strongly anchored on the Lord, better equipped and poised for the mission.
We face 2008 with great hope, hope for a future that will be lived more fully in His love. As we thank the Lord and hope in Him, we also thank all of you who shared in the struggles and who stood firm and steadfast for CFC. We thank you for your friendship and love, for your trust and support, especially as we journey during the darkness of night.
We shall gather strength from the Lord and from each other and move in greater unity to respond more fully to the unchanging call of the Lord for us to be families in the Holy Spirit renewing the face of the earth.
A blessed 2008 lived in the fullness of God’s love and truly COUPLES FOR CHRIST!
